Home Visits

Home visits are reserved for the terminally ill or the truly housebound patients.   Home visits should be requested before 10.00am, unless a medical emergency occurs.  If you request a home visit, the receptionist will either put you through to speak to the triaging doctor, or take your details so that the doctor can phone you back. Unless it is an emergency, home visits are carried out after normal surgery times.

Patients are urged to come to the surgery if at all possible. For every home visit, the doctor could see at least three patients in the surgery.
